True Artist by Osamu Yokonami and Nia Delfau

Two artistic visions. One collective story.

True Artist proudly presents two portrait series captured by acclaimed photographers Osamu Yokonami and Nia Delfau, showcasing the brand’s AW25 Main Collection.

Both series explore the interplay between individuality and the collective: two perspectives, two narratives, united under the enduring backdrop of nature.

Osamu Yokonami’s Vision

Osamu’s portraits dissolve individuality into the collective whole, highlighting the strength and beauty of unity.

In his work, the True Artist garments act as a connective thread, weaving together personalities into a single harmonious vision.

One standout look, the Dress No.15 in Autumn Fig, appears throughout his images, uniting children as they run and play in the countryside.

The comfortable silhouettes invite movement and expression, while layered tones within a bright palette forge a sense of visual rhythm, echoing the creative process itself.

Nia Delfau’s Lens

By contrast, Nia Delfau celebrates individuality within the group.

Each model wears a different look from the AW25 collection, emphasizing personal expression while maintaining coherence as a whole.

Her photographs highlight the delicate balance between intimacy and collectivity, showing how self-expression and belonging can coexist.

With her emotional portraits and signature connection to nature, Delfau captures not just appearances, but feelings embedding authenticity into every frame.

The Message in the Clothes

Across both visions, the collection serves as the bridge:

  • As a collective symbol in Osamu’s portraits, clothes unify the group.

  • As a personal statement in Nia’s, they allow individuality to shine.

Together, the work reflects True Artist’smission: clothing as a canvas for self-expression, whether within community or alone.
