With her vibrant, pop-infused, and unexpected style, Champalimaud invites audiences to see familiar icons in a new light.
Figures once fixed in public perception now dance between admiration and critique.
“My intention is to deconstruct the crystallized image of globally recognized figures, inviting the viewer to rediscover them in a fresh, colorful, and even provocative way”
explains Maísa Champalimaud.
Part of the proceeds from artwork sales will support the QE Social Scholarship Fund, ensuring that people with intellectual disabilities supported by the association have access to programs promoting inclusion and quality of life, regardless of their families’ financial situation.
More than an exhibition, it’s an invitation to see art as a catalyst for change.
Born in Lisbon, Maísa Champalimaud is a Luso-Brazilian artist celebrated for her chromatic intensity and creative freedom.
Her work is the result of an impulsive, intuitive process, each canvas blending cultural influences with personal experiences.
