From its ear-shaped details to its impossibly soft texture, Wigiwama’s Yeti Beanbag redefines what cosy design means for modern families..

Wigiwama’s new design turns everyday comfort into a magical home moment.

There’s a new hero in kids’ interiors, and it’s as soft, sweet, and snug as it sounds..

Meet the YETI Beanbag, the latest creation from Wigiwama, Europe’s leading brand of premium, comfortable children’s furniture. Designed to feel like a warm hug and look like a design statement, the Yeti Beanbag brings playful comfort into modern family homes.

A Beanbag with Heart and Ears

The Yeti Beanbag was born from a simple, sensory spark: a fabric so irresistibly soft that it inspired a whole collection.

“I immediately imagined a beanbag that felt like a nest, much more than just a beanbag”

shares Anastasija, Founder and Chief Product Officer of Wigiwama.

“The ear-shaped details came naturally, like a playful nod to the mythical Yeti. We wanted children to feel connected to it as they would to a friendly creature, not just furniture.”

That sense of imagination and emotion runs through every Wigiwama piece. The Yeti isn’t just somewhere to sit, it’s a place to read, rest, dream, and grow.

Design That Feels as Good as It Looks

As with all Wigiwama creations, the Yeti Beanbag perfectly balances aesthetics, comfort, and conscious craftsmanship.

Made from OEKO-TEX® certified 100% polyester, it’s hypoallergenic and handmade in Wigiwama’s European factory, ensuring the brand’s signature quality and attention to detail.

The Yeti Beanbag comes in three beautifully neutral shades: Honey, Truffle, and Blush, designed to blend seamlessly into any interior while adding a dose of warmth and charm.

And because good design is in the details, the Yeti Collection also includes Wigiwama’s iconic Bear Cushion, now reimagined in the same irresistibly soft Yeti fabric.

For Kids Who Dream Big (and Nap Better)

Playful yet polished, whimsical yet practical, the Yeti Beanbag embodies everything modern parents love about Wigiwama.

It’s made to evolve with your child’s world, offering a cosy corner for reading adventures, after-school relaxation, or quiet weekend moments.

In the world of kids’ interiors, the Yeti isn’t just furniture, it’s a feeling.

Oliver Furniture Expands the Wood Original Series with Two New Beds for the Littlest Dreamers

The beloved Wood Original series from Oliver Furniture continues to grow, just like the children who sleep in it.

Introducing two new designs crafted especially for the youngest family members: the Wood Original House Bed and the Wood Original Floor Bed.

Both beds are designed to support the magical transition from cot to first real bed, offering freedom, comfort, and the gentle independence that marks a child’s next big step.

A Space for Growth, Play, and Independence

With their low bed height, both models make it easy for children around two years old to climb in and out on their own, nurturing confidence and self-reliance in everyday life.

The spacious 90 x 200 cm dimensions ensure plenty of room for play and imagination during the day, and for cozy bedtime moments shared with mom or dad at night.

From Playhouse to Dreamland..

The Wood Original House Bed can be complemented with two optional bed canopies, available separately, allowing families to tailor the look and atmosphere to the child’s personality.

From a soft reading corner to an adventurous playhouse, the House Bed becomes a place where imagination and comfort meet, creating a nurturing environment for daydreaming and growth.

Timeless Design That Adapts to Every Stage

Like all pieces in the Wood Original series, the new beds are designed with longevity and adaptability in mind.

Each model can easily be converted into other beds within the series, ensuring it grows alongside the child.

Crafted with legs in white-oiled oak, the design combines natural warmth with Oliver Furniture’s signature Scandinavian simplicity: timeless, durable, and made with respect for people and planet.

Where Design Meets Childhood

Every detail reflects Oliver Furniture’s commitment to sustainable craftsmanship and functional beauty.

The Wood Original House Bed and Floor Bed transform a child’s room into a place of security, creativity, and calm: a space where they can explore, rest, and simply be.

Is the state of your current windows a danger to your loved ones?

Watch out for these five signs that indicate your windows are doing more harm than good..

Your home should be your family’s safe haven, but aging windows can turn your sanctuary into a source of stress and potential harm.

You may notice air drafts on cold mornings, condensation that won’t clear, and windows that stick when you try to open them. These signs are worth paying attention to, as they point to dangers of old windows in your family’s home if not remedied.

Poor Air Quality Affects Your Children’s Health

Windows that don’t seal properly let outdoor pollutants, allergens, and dust flow freely into your living spaces.

Your family breathes in this contaminated air every day, which can trigger asthma attacks, worsen allergies, and cause respiratory problems.

The excess moisture from poorly sealed windows creates the perfect environment for mold. Mold growth around deteriorating window frames is an added health hazard, especially for family members with sensitive immune systems.

Security Risks Leave Your Family Vulnerable

Broken window locks, cracked frames, and damaged glass create easy entry points for intruders.

You might feel secure behind your front door, but aging windows often become the weakest link in your home’s defense system.

Windows that won’t open properly are another safety concern during emergencies.

If a fire blocks your main exits, you need functional windows as escape routes for your
family. Warped or paint-shut windows are too dangerous.

Structural Damage Threatens Your Investment

Water infiltration through compromised windows can rot wooden frames, damage drywall, and create foundational problems that cost thousands to repair.

What starts as a small leak can spread through wall cavities, causing hidden damage that affects your home’s structural integrity.

The moisture also attracts termites and other pests that view wet wood as an invitation to establish colonies in your walls.

These infestations can spread throughout your home, creating additional repair costs and health concerns for your family.

Noise Pollution Disrupts Family Life

Old windows provide little protection from outside noise, letting neighborhood activities invade your peaceful home.

Children need quiet spaces to study and rest, but old windows in your family’s home are a danger to their development when constant noise prevents proper focus.

Protect Your Family’s Future

Upgrade your windows to protect your loved ones!

If you decide to put your home on the market, replacing your home’s windows before selling also adds to your property’s appeal.

Modern, energy-efficient windows offer heightened security that benefits everyone.

Don’t let old windows continue to be a threat, schedule a professional assessment of your current windows to identify specific risks. This evaluation helps you create a plan that fits your budget and timeline.

Retro charm meets modern design in a warm, colorful, and personality-filled collection for the home.

Vintage is back and more relevant than ever.

The new La Redoute Intérieurs collection brings the Trendy Vintage trend into our homes, inviting us to revisit the 1970s and reinterpret them in a modern, luminous, and stylish way.

Trendy Vintage: 70s Charm, Contemporary Spirit

Blending retro references with contemporary design is the secret behind this trend, set to mark the new season.

Trendy Vintage revives iconic elements of the 70s: velvet, chrome finishes, smoked glass, and gives them a fresh life in pieces that are balanced, sophisticated, and easy to integrate into any interior.

The result is a warm and inviting aesthetic, where joy, fantasy, and color meet modern lightness, creating harmonious and timeless spaces.

Key Pieces of the Collection

Several standout designs embody the spirit of Trendy Vintage:

  • Lizzy Sofa – A velvet centerpiece that combines enveloping comfort with elegant lines, making it the star of any living room.

  • Galdo Sideboard – With three doors in walnut veneer contrasted with light beige, this piece echoes pure 70s inspiration.

  • Talet Armchair – A low, upholstered chair in oak and bronze, blending Scandinavian style and minimalist design with cozy padded cushions, a true invitation to relax.

Completing the collection are rounded chairs, bookcases, and furniture that reinforce the cozy, laid-back feel of the trend. Graphic prints and bold color-blocking applied to home textiles add energy and brightness to any room.

Among the textile highlights is the Shirley washed cotton duvet cover, with watercolor florals and fine vertical stripes, available in multiple sizes.

Everyday Beauty, Made Accessible

At La Redoute, the mission remains unchanged: to make beauty accessible to everyone and enrich family life every day.

For this collection, La Redoute designers explored contrasting materials (wood, velvet, chrome, and lacquer) alongside vivid, joyful colors, creating versatile atmospheres that awaken the senses.

The Trendy Vintage collection is an invitation to dare, to mix eras, create singular interiors, and transform every object into more than decoration: into daily inspiration.

Step aside boring centerpieces - this summer, home fragrance gets a fresh new look. These sculptural summer candles are the cutest way to bring seasonal charm into your home.

Interlude Candles has just dropped their most playful and nostalgia-fueled collection yet: the Farmer’s Market Collection, a limited-edition line of handcrafted candles inspired by the colorful chaos of your local produce stand.

Picture this: sun-ripened tomatoes, juicy lemons, zesty oranges, and even cheeky little strawberries – only they’re not for eating, they’re for admiring (and burning, slowly).

Each candle is meticulously hand-poured with vegan, sustainable soy wax, making them not only cute but consciously crafted.

A Picnic for Your Senses

Designed to channel the feeling of long summer afternoons and breezy market strolls, these sculptural candles are equal parts home décor and mood-setter.

Whether you’re curating a dinner party tablescape, styling your shelfie, or searching for a standout hostess gift, the Farmer’s Market Collection brings just the right mix of charm, scent, and sustainable design.

Each piece blends bold colorways, soft curves, and that tiny touch of kitsch that makes guests say: “Wait, is that a candle?” Yes, it is. And it’s absolutely adorable.

Candles You’ll Want to Collect (Not Just Burn)

From mini bell peppers to buttery corn on the cob, this isn’t your average candle drop, it’s a celebration of form, fragrance, and food-adjacent fun.

Interlude has taken the art of waxwork to Instagrammable new heights.

And if you’re wondering about the scents? Think fresh citrus, crushed herbs, warm tomato vine, and subtle floral notes – summer in scent form.

Sustainable, Giftable, Lovable

Every candle in the collection is:

  • Made from 100% soy wax

  • Vegan and cruelty-free

  • Hand-poured in small batches

  • Designed to be fully recyclable and gift-ready

So yes, your home can smell amazing, look amazing, and feel amazing, without compromising your values.

Shop the Market Before It’s Gone

The Farmer’s Market Collection is available now online and at select boutique stockists.

As a limited-run series, it’s expected to sell out quickly – so if you want your kitchen to smell like fresh basil or your coffee table to feature a waxy watermelon wedge, now’s the time to load up your (virtual) tote bag!

When you move into your first property, it’s one of the most exciting moments of your life..

It’s a chance where you can have your freedom, where you can decorate it how you want and you can make it feel like your very own sanctuary.

Yet moving in and having to furnish it from scratch can undoubtedly be daunting.

You might find you don’t know where to begin when it comes to furnishing your first house and might feel so overwhelmed you put it off.

Which is where we come in.

We’ve put together a piece on the top tips for furnishing your house that should make it that little bit easier.

Keep on reading to find out more!

Think about your budget

One of the first and most important things you need to consider when furnishing your first home is how much you have to spend.

You don’t want to spend all your budget on a couple of items of furniture and not have enough to get the house looking how you want it!

You need to make a list of all the items you’ll need and a rough cost of what you can spend on them.

Focus on the important things first, looking up a bed, sofa, dining table and coffee tables for sale, then you can sort the smaller things you might need.

Consider the size of your home

The size of your home makes a difference to how much furniture you will need to buy and the sort of pieces that will work.

If your home is quite small, you don’t want large, clunky pieces that are going to take up all the space and make it difficult to live in.

Conversely, if you have a large house with lots of space, you don’t want small furniture items that are going to make the room look bare.

Make sure you measure up the items you want and lay masking tape or string on the floor in the shape of where they will go so you can see how much space they will take up.

Decide how everything will work together

When you’re in a store buying a sofa or table, it can be easy to fall in love with it, but then when you get it home, the pieces just don’t look right.

Rather than thinking of items on their own, consider how well they will complement each other, with things like the fabrics, colours and size in mind.

This can help your home to flow a lot better.

These are just a few top tips for furnishing your first house that might make it a bit easier to do so.

Whether you have a studio apartment or a three-bedroom house, these rules all still apply!

A wellness-focused home, through intentional design, has the power to transform your living space into a functional asset that proactively enhances health and quality of life.

From making better use of sunlight and its benefits to home ergonomics, here are some handy suggestions.

Invest in Home Comforts

A thoughtfully designed home addresses more than putting a roof over your head.

At the end of the day, everyone just wants to be comfortable, and designing with intent is a powerful way to make your house the place you want to be.

Creating a warm space relies on reliable heating, so ensure to include boiler or fireplace repair in your plans.

A focus point like a fire can become the heart of the home, where magical family memories are made in cozy comfort together.

Make Better Use of Sunlight

Sunlight is a powerful wellness tool and is often overlooked.

The warmth of sunlight alone increases dopamine production and makes you feel happier.

UV rays are also antibacterial, so there is a practical health reason for opening your home up to natural light.

However, you can also reduce the anxiety of heating bills by flooding the home with sunlight through double-paned glass, which can heat up the space by a huge amount, averaging between 3 and 6 degrees!

A Wellness-Focused Home Needs Plants

Natural elements in a home don’t just make it look better, but they can add health benefits.

Plants are among the easiest to use and offer various health advantages.

For example, spider plants will purify the air in your home.

A US survey found that 89% of US homeowners have houseplants, and benefits like this are the reason why.

However, be careful if you want to design an allergy-safe home for your kids.

While plants can purify the air, they can also be allergens.

Think About the Ergonomics

Ergonomics is a funny word, but all it really means is the relationship between humans and their immediate environment.

Your home office space is a good example.

Office furniture and accessories are designed with ergonomics in mind because of how much you use them.

However, you can design the home using the same principles.

For example, you can invest in a couch that conforms to your shape and is made from high-quality and comfy materials.

What About the Senses?

Home should be a space you want to get back to.

To achieve this, it must be attractive in terms of sensory stimulation as well as comfort.

In fact, comfort can come from correct stimulation.

Sound and music, lighting, colors, and the textures you use throughout the home add to the overall experience of living with wellness in mind.

There are also aromas you can use to make each area more pleasant.

Of course, personal touches like photos are what make it a home.

In conclusion..

Home comforts such as  dedicated fireplace or cozy blankets and a warm space are a major part of a wellness-focused home.

Of course, natural elements such as plants play an important role.

Sensory stimulation with colours, sounds and smells also add to the overall experience.
