From the urban jungle in Utrecht, The Netherlands, Agatha portrays glorious mamas and creates illustrations to empower herself (and hopefully many others) in her adventure of single motherhood.
Besides spending her precious time illustrating, she read pirate picture books, pushed the swing, and baked banana pancakes with her two little loves, Nur and Maimun.
Whilst carrying her youngest boy in her belly, Mooon Moms was her personal project to visualize a sweet motherhood experience.
Even though it was going to be a solo adventure, as her love-relationship just stranded, Illustrating brave, beautiful mamas inspired her to write her own awesome motherhood story and break with the sad stereotypes of single moms.
By now, Agatha has had the honour of portraying many amazing mamas with their little (and big) loves and amazing women without babies from all around the globe.
Her recent adventures in Morocco were a huge inspiration. This place holds an exceptional spot in her soul, as it holds the roots of her two beautiful boys.
She feels blessed to run this creative business, and Agatha is so grateful for all the fantastic beings she created.
When I saw her work, I also saw Barbara’s, our Boss Mum. She is also a single mum and a force of nature. Agatha illustrated her in a beautiful way, and this amazing illustration will definitely fill her room walls with joy.
