The sustainable fashion start-up MY NICE PAIR is here to revolutionise maternity wardrobes, and help women celebrate their changing bodies.

The idea is simple: stylish dungarees that you can swap whenever you need, so they’re always the perfect fit!

MY NICE PAIR lets women evolve their style, through pregnancy and beyond, without buying a bunch of maternity clothes that end up in landfill. 

By women, for women 

MY NICE PAIR was created by Rose Carr-Ellison following her frustration with the limited options available during her own pregnancy, often designed to “hide the bump”.

She was reluctant to invest in unique and stylish maternity clothing, that would only be used temporarily. 

“Pregnancy and post-partum shouldn’t be a time to hide away. I wanted to celebrate the magical moments when every part of my body was changing,

but I couldn’t justify buying a lot of items that would only last a couple of months before ending up in landfill.

Like many women, I felt confined to a small handful of uninspiring “safe” pieces, that failed to celebrate the incredible journey my body was undertaking.

It was in this moment of weariness that the idea for MY NICE PAIR began to blossom.” 

 

If we just doubled the number of times a garment is worn, the green-house gas emissions would be ~44% lower.

The MY NICE PAIR subscription focuses on extending products lifespan and allows maternity wear to be used to it’s full.

Users “share their pair” to get access to all the colours and sizes they need to feel their best without generating waste. 

How it works

Customers choose their style and size online and the dungarees are shipped to their door in reusable packaging.

Whenever they need a change, they can post back their dungarees in this packaging and choose their next style and size, with unlimited swaps.

The subscriptions can be cancelled any time. 

The denim fabric is made from sturdy 97% organic cotton and 3% elastane (for that little bit of comfy stretch).

When they are looking thoroughly loved, the dungarees are removed from the subscription, carefully patched, restored, and sold second hand to their forever home.

At the end of their long life, the cotton fabric is also degradable.

Versatile, breastfeeding-friendly and made to stand out, MY NICE PAIR have 9 different styles to choose from, available in sizes 8 through 16.

All the patterns are designed in-house for a one-of-a-kind product.

Focused on an ethical supply chain that supports UK businesses, the designs are handmade in small batches by a UK based factory, and returned dungarees are washed by ACS Clothing, a carbon neutral and B-Corp certified wash company also based on the UK.

The result? Guilt-free dungarees that help mums look and feel great during pregnancy and beyond!
