MOOUI, a pioneering brand in the children’s decor market, presents its latest collection titled ‘Enchanted Roots,’ which reflects the essence and importance of family traditions.
With a keen eye on disconnecting from the technological world and valuing the analog, the brand’s creator, Thais Carballal, reveals that the inspiration for this collection came from a desire to revive family conversations and stories, promoting a space for connection and learning for children.
“Two years ago, I nurtured the desire to create a collection that addressed the theme of family and conversations. This year, we finally managed to bring this project to life, which was extremely gratifying. The entire creative process was developed collaboratively, involving various areas of the company, such as marketing, product, sales, and design. We conducted a brainstorming session to explore all possibilities and connections with the theme, sought references, shared stories, and from this teamwork, the prints were created. It was an enriching experience to have the significant contribution of several team members in this creative process,” says Thais Carballal, creator of the brand.
The new collection aims to revive family roots and create a connection between generations, highlighting elements and creating new prints such as family portraits, space race, embroidered backyard, grandpa’s cars, and grandpa’s pullover.

With over 1,200 prints developed, MOOUI’s mission is to convey positive messages and promote relevant themes for children, while prioritizing sustainability through reduced packaging and eco-conscious practices.

At the beginning of 2024, the brand expanded its business outside Brazil. With a reputation established for its quality products, creativity, and commitment to child development, the company opened a new headquarters in the city of Barcelona, Spain.
This expansion represents a significant milestone in the company’s history and opens doors to opportunities for global growth and development.
