During this year’s Black Week, Mini Rodini, the Swedish sustainable kids’ fashion brand, is turning shopping into a force for good.
From November 29 to December 3, 2024, the company will donate 20% of all sales worldwide through its channels to the medical humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in Sweden (Läkare utan gränser).
“Building a modern, impactful company starts with putting social responsibility at the heart of your strategy,” said Marina Davarinou, CEO of Mini Rodini.
“Our customers inspire us daily to uphold these values, and we remain committed to finding new ways to make a meaningful impact.”
Founded in 2006 by Cassandra Rhodin, Mini Rodini has pioneered ethical kids’ fashion.
Its collections are made entirely from certified organic and recycled materials.
The brand also publishes a yearly sustainability report and champions a living wage initiative to ensure fair pay throughout its supply chain.
Mini Rodini’s Black Week initiative reflects its commitment to integrating philanthropy into business.
“Social responsibility is not just a belief—it’s our blueprint for action,” added Davarinou.
The funds donated during Black Week will support Doctors Without Borders, a global NGO that provides medical care to people affected by conflict, natural disasters, and disease outbreaks in over 70 countries.
“We are grateful for companies like Mini Rodini that integrate philanthropy into their business,” said Ida Bah, Fundraising Director for MSF in Sweden.
This is not Mini Rodini’s first collaboration with an NGO.
Previous initiatives include a 2018 partnership with Sea Shepherd, supporting marine wildlife conservation, and collaborations with the Wildhood Foundation, Galgos del Sol, and the Besesaka Boxing and Education Program in Ghana.
With this Black Week initiative, Mini Rodini continues to set an example for ethical commerce, reminding consumers that every purchase can have a purpose.
