Donatella Versace Says Goodbye to the Creative Helm

A New Era for Versace Begins

Big changes at Versace! After nearly 30 years as the creative force behind the brand, Donatella Versace is stepping down as Chief Creative Officer. It’s the end of an era, but also the start of something new.

In an emotional statement, Donatella reflected on her journey:
“It has been the greatest honour of my life to carry on my brother Gianni’s legacy. He was the true genius, but I hope I have some of his spirit and tenacity. Versace will always be my family, and I will continue to support and love it in every way I can.”

So, who’s stepping into her iconic shoes? Dario Vitale, former Design and Image Director at Miu Miu, will take over as Versace’s new Creative Director. He brings a fresh perspective while respecting the bold, glamorous DNA that makes Versace so legendary.

This big shake-up also comes at a time when there are whispers of a Prada Group acquisition, which could mean even bigger things for the brand’s future.
