Goldie+Ace AW25: A Childhood Daydream from the Boardroom to the Playground

Melbourne-based childrenswear label Goldie+Ace invites us all to clock in and run wild with their Autumn/Winter 2025 collection, Days of Play:

A nostalgic tribute to the slow, silly, and mischievous days we spent in our parents’ offices as kids..

Titled Boardrooms, Boredom & Big Ideas, the new collection is anything but corporate. Instead, it’s a love letter to childhood imagination:

To sticky notes that became dinosaur scales, filing cabinets that turned into rocket ships, and swivel chairs that held mythical power.

When Boredom Sparked the Best Adventures

Before screens and over-scheduling, there were entire afternoons filled with absolutely nothing to do except turn office supplies into epic adventures.

Goldie+Ace captures that magic with soft corduroys, seersucker and gingham, ’70s golden stripes, and vintage-washed denim made for spinning on chairs or avoiding lava floor tiles.

The AW25 collection is a celebration of imagination, full of tongue-in-cheek motifs and cozy, high-quality fabrics.

Highlights include:

  • Retro rainbows on slouchy knits

  • Hand-drawn florals on soft corduroy

  • Cheeky kangaroo prints in grid formations

  • Nautical notes and seersucker stripes

  • Wearable tones inspired by old-school office lighting and sunshine through Venetian blinds

Designed for ages 0–8, each piece is effortlessly wearable and made to move, tumble, and giggle in.

Aussie-Made, Globally Loved

All garments are designed in Melbourne, and like everything Goldie+Ace does, AW25 is built with longevity and love in mind.

Pieces are made to last, ready to be passed down to siblings, cousins, or fellow tiny adventurers.

Since its launch in 2017, Goldie+Ace has grown from a cult Aussie favourite to a globally stocked label, blending 1980s and 1990s nostalgia with soft natural fabrics, sustainable values, and just the right dose of mischief.

It’s no wonder their pieces are seen in stylish nurseries and playrooms all over the world!

From the Founders

“We poured our hearts into Days of Play not just to make beautiful pieces, but to remind us all of the little rebels we once were. The ones who coloured on meeting notes and wore paperclip chains as jewellery. It’s a collection full of heart, humour, and heaps of fun.”
